Risky Business: How ERM Supercharges Organizational Performance Management (additional fee)
Preconference event with additional registration fee required.

Learn how to apply fundamental ERM principles to make progress on strategic goals, align institutional resources, and enhance organizational transparency with respect to complex and vexing subject areas. This session will use a campus safety and security case study from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte to demonstrate the value of applying ERM principles to existing processes and executive reporting. Attendees will have opportunities to engage in small- group breakouts to share ideas from their own institutions and develop new ideas together.

We'll break to grab lunch from the buffet and then return to the meeting room to allow you to continue your own conversations at the tables. Compare notes, swap best practices, and enjoy the time as roundtable discussions while you eat. We will join the full group between 12:15-12:30pm.

+Develop a better understanding about the value of ERM for enhancing an institution’s probability of success

Viruses, Vaccines, and Mold: Stopping The Spread and Managing Legal Risk
The past year we’ve seen high-profile cases of mumps, measles, and meningitis on multiple campuses throughout the country. We have also seen increased allegations of mold causing student and employee health issues, including the death of a student.
